Mike Aragon

Multi-award winning and touring artist, Michael Aragon was Born & Raised in El Paso, Texas. It all started with a box of crayons, and from there art projects came in many forms growing up and he was nothing but excited to take them on being his parents were his biggest fans . The interest of Tattooing came later in his teen years and coming from a Hispanic household and community had inspired him to study further in the art that has been popularized in parts of the west coast and across Texas since the 1950s known as chicano style tattooing. He spent several years practicing and became self taught before he began working in his first studio in 2007, and after 9 years in the industry had decided to take his career on the road. Continue Reading » He had traveled the convention circuit throughout parts of the United States before establishing a permanent position in 2018 at Virginia Beach, VA, working alongside family member Jason Adkins, Owner of Electric Umbrella Tattoo. Mike continues to grow everyday as an Artist and does not limit himself to just one style however does have interests in adding more Realism, Japanese, Pop culture, and Chicano style inspired tattoos to his portfolio. In all his years and thousands of tattoos later, he has yet to finish a tattoo and not look at the world in a new way. Mike sends a big Thanks to the Support of his Wife, children, Family, and friends who have supported him in this continuing journey, and looks forward to serving the Hampton road’s area and beyond with his support and art.
